📌 GUANAJA MOTO RENTALS – TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To rent a motorcycle, the renter must:

• Be 21 years or older

• Present a valid passport or government ID

• Hold a valid driver’s license for motorcycles or equivalent

• Demonstrate basic riding experience (at staff discretion)

• Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs

• Sign the rental agreement and liability waiver

• Accept full responsibility for the motorcycle during the rental period

Company reserves the right to refuse rental without explanation if rider is deemed unsafe or inexperienced.

2. SECURITY DEPOSIT

A refundable deposit is required before rental:

• KTM 250 XC-F: $1,000 USD

• Genesis GXT 254 Rally: $600 USD

• Honda CB190R: $400 USD

Deposit conditions:

• Held in cash or card authorization

• Fully refundable after inspection

• Deducted for damages, fines, late return, or missing fuel

3. CANCELLATION POLICY

• Cancellation 48+ hours before rental: Full refund

• Cancellation within 48 hours: 50% charge

• No-show or same-day cancellation: 100% charge

Company may cancel or refuse rental at any time due to:

• Unsafe weather conditions

• Mechanical issues

• Rider ineligibility

In such cases, customer receives a full refund.

4. DAMAGE POLICY

Renter is fully responsible for the motorcycle during the rental period.

A. Minor Damage

Includes scratches, broken mirrors, levers, indicators:

• Charged at repair cost + labor

B. Major Damage

Includes frame, engine, suspension, or crash damage:

• Charged at full repair cost

C. Total Loss / Theft

• Renter pays full replacement value of motorcycle

D. Loss of Income

If the motorcycle is unavailable due to damage caused by renter:

• Renter may be charged daily loss of rental income (up to 14 days max)

5. FUEL & RETURN CONDITIONS

• Motorcycle must be returned with same fuel level as delivered

• Missing fuel is charged at local premium rate + service fee

• Late return: $30–$55 per hour depending on model

• More than 4 hours late = full additional rental day charged

6. SAFETY & USAGE RULES

Strictly prohibited:

• Riding under influence of alcohol or drugs

• Night riding (after sunset)

• Unauthorized passengers (unless approved)

• Off-limit areas or restricted zones

• Reckless or competitive riding

Mandatory:

• Helmet use at all times (provided by company for free)

• Respect for local traffic and environment

• Immediate reporting of accidents or mechanical issues

Violation results in:

• Immediate termination of rental

• Loss of deposit

7. FINAL AUTHORITY CLAUSE

Company reserves the right to:

• Refuse service

• Terminate rental at any time

• Retain deposit if rules are violated or vehicle is misused

Strictly prohibited:

• Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs

• Night riding (after sunset)

• Carrying passengers

• Reckless or competitive riding

• Riding outside designated areas

Mandatory:

• Helmet use at all times

• Respect for local roads, residents, and environment

Violation of rules results in:

• Immediate termination of rental

• Loss of deposit
